Photoshop 7.0 Shortcut Keys PDF — Free Download
The short version
This is a free, single-page, originally designed PDF cheat sheet containing every keyboard shortcut in Adobe Photoshop 7.0. It prints cleanly on A4 and US Letter, shows Windows and Mac modifier keys side by side, and is sorted in the order you actually reach for them at the keyboard. No sign-up. No email. No watermark.

What's Inside
The cheat sheet is a single page divided into seven coloured zones, each containing one category of shortcuts. From top-left to bottom-right:
- Tool shortcuts — all 25 single-letter tool keys (V, M, L, W, B, S, J, T, P, …).
- File & Edit — every Ctrl + letter command (New, Open, Save, Undo, Cut, Copy, Paste, etc.).
- Layers — Ctrl+J duplicate, Ctrl+E merge down, layer reorder.
- Selection & Transform — Free Transform, Inverse, Feather.
- View & Navigation — zoom, fit, pan, ruler, grid.
- Brush & Painting — size, hardness, opacity number keys.
- Adjustments — Levels, Curves, Hue/Saturation.
Each row shows the action name on the left, the Windows shortcut in the middle column, and the Mac shortcut on the right.
Why This PDF Is Better Than the Ones You Find on Google
Search "Photoshop 7.0 shortcut keys PDF" and you get dozens of results. Almost every one of them is a low-resolution scan of a 2005-era cheat sheet, often cropped from a magazine or a forgotten textbook. Many are images (not selectable text), most are two or three pages, and a fair number have garbled formatting from being repeatedly re-uploaded.
Our PDF is different in three concrete ways:
- Designed in 2026, not scanned from 2005. Vector type rendered at 600 dpi. Sharp on screen, crisp on paper.
- One page. Every shortcut fits on a single side. Stick it next to your monitor.
- Both Windows and Mac modifier keys are shown on every row. Switch between OSes without two PDFs.
How to Use the PDF
On-screen reference
Open the PDF in any browser, PDF reader, or your operating system's preview pane. Keep it on a second monitor while you work in Photoshop. Press Ctrl+F to search the PDF text directly — type "free transform" and you instantly find Ctrl+T.
Printed
Print at 100% scale (do not "Fit to page" — it shrinks the type unnecessarily). On A4 paper the text is roughly 9 pt; on US Letter slightly larger. Tape it to the wall next to your monitor. Within two weeks you'll need it less and less because the shortcuts will be in muscle memory.
Pinned to a notebook
Photoshop classroom teachers often print this PDF and staple it inside the front cover of each student's notebook. Feel free to do so — no copyright restriction prevents classroom use.
Licence and Reuse
The PDF is provided free under a permissive licence: you may copy it, print it, post it on a notice board, and share it with colleagues, students, and friends. The two restrictions are:
- Do not modify it (no rebadging with your logo on top of ours).
- Do not redistribute it on a download portal that asks for payment, email signup, or other gating in exchange for the file. The PDF must remain freely accessible wherever it is shared.
If you would like to host a copy on your own site for your own readers, please link directly to this page instead of mirroring the file — that way readers always get the most current version (we update the PDF when Photoshop 7.0 shortcut interpretations change, which is rare but does happen).
Prefer to Search Instead of Print?
If you would rather search than scroll, we built a free interactive Shortcut Key Finder on this site. Type any tool name, key, or action and the results filter live. The finder uses the same dataset that powers the PDF.

FAQ
Is the PDF really free?
Yes. No email signup, no payment, no watermark, no advertisement on the PDF itself.
Does the PDF cover Photoshop CC shortcuts too?
Almost — about 95% of Photoshop 7.0 shortcuts still work in Creative Cloud. Where CC adds new shortcuts (for features like Content-Aware Fill that did not exist in 7.0), those are obviously not in the PDF. For pure Photoshop 7.0 use it is comprehensive.
Can I use the PDF in my online course / book / blog post?
Yes for any non-commercial educational use, with attribution to adobephotoshop7-0.com. For commercial use (a paid course or book), please contact us first — we usually grant permission free of charge.
How do I report a missing or wrong shortcut?
Email us via the contact page with the action name and the shortcut you believe is correct. We verify on a clean Photoshop 7.0.1 install and update the PDF.
Is there a printer-friendly black-and-white version?
The PDF prints cleanly in black and white on any printer — the colour zones become grey shades that still differentiate the categories.
