About Photoshop 7.0 Hub
Photoshop 7.0 Hub is an independent resource site for users of Adobe Photoshop 7.0 — the version of Photoshop released in March 2002 that is still in daily use on millions of computers in 2026, particularly in India, the Middle East, and South-East Asia.
What we publish
We publish tutorials, shortcut references, install guides, troubleshooting articles, compatibility notes for modern Windows and macOS, and interactive tools. Everything on the site is free and free of registration.
How we test
Every install guide and tutorial on the site is tested on real virtual machines before publication. Our standard test rig is:
- Windows 10 22H2 (clean install, fully patched) in VirtualBox 7
- Windows 11 23H2 (clean install, fully patched) in VirtualBox 7
- macOS 10.14 Mojave (last 32-bit-capable macOS) in a real-hardware setup
- Photoshop 7.0.1 installed in each environment from original retail installation media
If we cannot reproduce a fix on at least the Windows 10 and Windows 11 environments, the fix does not get published.
Our editorial standards
- Every article carries the author byline and the date it was last reviewed.
- Factual claims — version dates, system requirements, file paths — are checked against Adobe's original 2002 documentation and the application binary itself.
- External links go to primary sources where possible: adobe.com, archive.org, wikipedia, the project pages of open-source software we recommend.
- We do not host installers, serial numbers, cracks, or pirated material of any kind. See the Disclaimer.
- We do not accept paid placement. If we ever do, the article will be clearly marked as sponsored.
